A Manawatu lad originally, he grew up on a sheep and beef farm in the steep hill county of the Pohangina Valley.
After finishing PNBHS he studied Geography at Massey University specialising in Hydrology and Geomorphology.
This led him into an interest in water and has been working alongside industry professionals to bing the most up to date information and product line available.
