Fluoride is an additive that many councils are now adding to town water supply. It is something that many people want to remove from their water supply.
There are two main avenues of removal, one from the drinking water and the second from the whole house water.
Reverse Osmosis is the best way to remove it from drinking water.
Cartridge filtration with AAL media is the best way from whole house water.
Drinking Water
Adding a Reverse Osmosis System to your kitchen water is the best way to remove Fluoride. This removes the highest level of fluoride out of any filtration device.

With Whole House Cartridge filters, we can either add or provide a fully setup system.

1, Small house system with 2x 10” filters and one 20” fluoride filter - priced from $1898 incl GST
2, Large house system with 3x 20” filters - priced from $2398 incl GST
The filter media that works the best for fluoride is Activated Alumina (AAL). This is designed to attract fluoride and arsenic and absorb it so it doesn’t continue in the water stream.
The slower the water stream, the higher the percentage of fluoride removed. So if you are wanting a drink of water, the flow will be slow, therefore around 90% will be removed. If you use a shower and get a glass of water, the flow will be faster and 80% is likely to be removed.
You must have a large 60cm (20”) cartridge to provide enough AAL concentration in the whole house filter system.
