    The Canadian company Viqua also known as Trojan produces some of the best UV filters on the market.

    We use this band a lot as they have a high powered UV bulb that supports a compact design UV chamber.

    These are guaranteed for 2 years manufacturers warranty.

    We supply all parts and replacement bulbs for these.

    NSF 55 Class B

    The UV inactivates heterotrophs to reduce the heterotrophic plate counts (HPC). The UV is sufficient for inactivation of E.Coli and Fecal Coliform. The UV system is a reliable and economical way to treat drinking water in any residential application.

    Greenway have been a strong UV filter supplier similar to Viqua.

    Their units tend to be longer but are widely used in NZ along with Viqua.

    We tend to use these units when there is a specialised use fo a particular flow rate.

    We supply all parts and bulb replacements for these.

    Micro-organisms such as e-coli, cryptosporidium and Giardia can be disinfected through ozone, chlorine, or ultraviolet treatment. UV is a natural process which doesn’t add chemicals into water but still inactivates harmful micro-organisms.

    What’s new and being added in with new legislation is having a shut off valve. Which will activate if the

    system or parts aren’t working correctly or UVT transmission drops.

    This is the Solenoid Valve Kit, which includes the Remote Solenoid Interface.  This interface features a set of dry contacts which can be used for a remote alarm. The three contacts provided are labelled ‘N/O’ – normally open, ‘COMMON’, and ‘N/C’ – normally closed. These contacts have no voltage potential and can be used to provide signal to a remote alarm horn or SCADA system. Also includes the shut off valve.
